While in medical school and residency training at the University of Minnesota, I rotated through most of the hospital systems in the Twin Cities area. After spending a few years completing fellowships at the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins Hospital, I made returning to the area with my family a priority. Professionally, I most enjoy the interaction with my clinical colleagues, where we can use both the clinical and pathologic findings to formulate an integrated treatment plan for the patient.
Being a native Minnesotan, I enjoy spending time outdoors in the spring, summer, and fall. I’m pretty close to my lifetime quota of cold days, but do spend plenty of time in ice arenas in the winter.
