Hospital Pathology Associates’ Postgraduate Pathology Program is an outstanding opportunity for passionate individuals aspiring to pursue a medical graduate degree or healthcare postgraduate program. Our program provides learning experiences in the science of disease causes and effects through examining human tissue and the practice of laboratory medicine. As a member of the Postgraduate Pathology Program, you will collaborate closely with pathologists and laboratory professionals in collecting, processing, and diagnosing pathologic specimens.

  • Mentoring from pathologists and pathologists’ assistants for graduate healthcare careers
  • Educational sessions with pathologists ranging from cancer staging, tumor types, molecular testing, and how diseases look under the microscope
  • Hands-on grossing sessions with pathologists’ assistants
  • Opportunities to shadow autopsies and live surgeries
  • Working knowledge of a diagnostic medical laboratory
